Ongoing conflicts around the World have triggered the worst ever humanitarian crisis. At the end of 2015, there were more than 63 million people forcibly displaced by war or persecution worldwide. Of those, more than 21 million are refugees (UNHCR.)
"Refugees may flee their homes with few belongings, but these farmers, nurses, teachers, and business owners, always carry three valuable things with them: knowledge, skills, and experience. We recognize the enormous potential of refugees to contribute to local economies, wherever they settle and their ardent desire to become self-reliant. That's why we work with refugees to help revive their livelihoods and help develop new marketable skills." (UNHCR Canada)
"Work is the only thing that gives substance to life" (Albert Einstein, a refugee)

Newly arrived refugees will be in need of almost everything, including furniture, clothing, food, dishes and much more as they resettle in Canada. In-Kind and monetary donations are welcome. Donate here.
