EK Humanity Network’s Amy Cross says, “The goal of the Humanity Network is to increase awareness of human dignity and the values of humanity in Canada and British Columbia and to grow our collective understanding of the importance of these values in our communities. Our Mission is to create and sustain a regional network of organizations that promotes unity in the diversity among the citizens of the East Kootnenays while connecting to the citizens of the world whose vision is to foster and be part of an all-embracing global society.”

The EK Humanity Network is hosting their 2018 Welcoming and Inclusive Community Roundtable event, “What does happiness mean to you?” at the Kimberley Conference Centre on Monday, May 14, 9:00am-3:00pm. Senator Murray Sinclair, recipient of the National Aboriginal Award and Chair of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, will be the keynote speaker.
